Facilitation and Team Building

From time to time, special needs arise for an outside facilitator or some special event to serve as a catalyst to achieving a particular result.

Among the services that are responsive to these needs are:

Facilitation: Dynamic and energetic facilitation/leading of problem solving activities designed to infuse creativity into group problem solving sessions. We are particularly highly regarded for our work with executive teams; helping them with vision, mission, strategic business goals, strategic planning, and other types of large scale organizational change.

Team Building: Consultation and facilitation assistance to leadership teams to improve interpersonal relationships, team effectiveness and team efficiency. These workshops, or retreats, usually challenge the team to consider improvements in their teamwork skills, leadership attributes and managerial capabilities. Additional subjects include improving work relationships, the work environment and even the organizational culture. Each of these interventions is unique and is designed to suit the specific dynamics of the individual team. Some common characteristics include:

Performance improvement within the organization as a whole is emphasized;

The vision, mission and goals of the organization serve as measures of success and achievement;

Techniques for enhancing teamwork and interpersonal relationship are provided

Innovation and creative ways to improve team and individual performance on a continuing basis are stressed; and,

The team is challenged to find ways to "institutionalize" the process improvement ideas, i.e., to implement permanent measures to improve the organization's effectiveness, efficiency and capacity to achieve its mission and strategic goals.
